Why does Grumpy Mule support the Cup of Excellence program?

There are two things that we think are vital in the world of coffee: quality, and rewarding the producers of quality coffee. This is great for our customers too because they get to drink fantastic cups of coffee.

The Cup of Excellence

The Cup of Excellence programme is a way of finding some of the finest coffees around, because it ensures that farmers are thoroughly rewarded (in both the recognition of receiving an award and through the sale of the coffee) and encourages more and more farmers to produce better coffee.

If you see the Cup of Excellence logo on a bag of coffee, then you should be in for a real treat.

Guild of Fine Food

Grumpy Mule is a member of the Guild of Fine Food, the “UK trade association for anyone making or selling top quality local, regional and speciality food and drink.” Members include specialist food importers, food producers, distributors, delicatessens, farm shops and other specialist food outlets.
