Famous for: Java! (a cup of Java being the synonymous name for coffee in the US).
Look out for: Javan coffee from the government estates – Blawan, Pancoer, Kyumas, Djampit.
Indonesia: Sumatra
Famous for: Mandehling and Lintong coffees.
Look out for: Mandehlings, Takengon and Lintongs from top exporters – ideally sorted to zero defects to ensure consistency and quality.
Also worth noting Sulawesi (Indonesia), Australia, and a whole host of small pacific islands.
